Duncan Ensor
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Duncan Ensor has spent his life farming, developing land and pursuing conservation development across some of New Zealand's most challenging landscapes in the Canterbury high country. Over the past 25 years he has built a significant operation in the Rakaia Gorge, Mid Canterbury – taking complex, long-horizon projects from concept to completion and developing a deep, practical knowledge of what it takes to make land work. That hands-on experience is the foundation of Verity NZ. Duncan knows the land, understands the pressures facing landowners today, and thinks practically about how to turn those challenges into opportunities. His driving motivation is straightforward – to give farmers a genuine additional income stream from their land, and to create real options for the next generation to continue farming. As CEO, Duncan brings that same combination of on-the-ground experience, conservation development and business-minded thinking to building Verity NZ into a leading nature-based carbon restoration business.
